You shape the master data governance target operating model and the MDG solution architecture end to end. You ensure consistent, compliant and scalable master data processes across domains and enable reliable integration into the broader SAP landscape.
E2E SAP MDG solution architecture and delivery leadership, aligned with clean core principles
Design governance processes and operating model: roles, stewardship, decision rights, controls, and auditability
Define data models, attributes, hierarchies, and extensibility approach for key domains such as BP, material, supplier, customer and finance relevant objects depending on scope
Design and implement governance workflows, validations, derivations, and approval frameworks with measurable data quality outcomes
Own integration architecture for master data distribution and synchronization across systems, including replication patterns and monitoring concept
Establish data quality and verification governance: KPIs, controls, issue management, and continuous improvement
Drive stakeholder alignment and workshop moderation across business, compliance, and IT
Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and readiness for run and AMS handover
Strong track record in master data governance and SAP MDG delivery, typically 5+ years
Proven solution architecture capability across governance processes, data standards, and integration design
Strong facilitation and coordination skills, able to drive decisions across functions and regions
Structured delivery mindset with accountability and quality focus
English business fluency, German is a plus
Travel flexibility aligned with project needs
Experience with data migration alignment to MDG, field mapping standards and conversion rule catalogues
Cutover and go-live readiness experience for master data related activities
Experience with data retention, archiving, and compliance relevant documentation standards
Exposure to multi-system landscapes and global template governance models
